iluvlive collaborates with City Splash Festival for the launch of ‘The Break’
iluvlive is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with City Splash, a festival that celebrates Caribbean and African culture in the UK and beyond.
The collaboration will kick off with the launch of ‘The Break’, a new event series by iluvlive, where industry experts will be invited for an intimate chat to discuss topics and ways to break into the music business in detail. The Break is designed to inspire, educate, and empower while providing access to key industry professionals.
The moderators will be iluvlive’s Managing Director, Lauren Louise Powell and City Splash Founder Ben Ryan. The discussion will be “Owning The Stage: The importance of keeping live music at the focus”. The panel will include Neicee Oakley (Tour Manager) and PRGRSHN (Multi-instrumentalist / Producer / Vocal Producer).
Managing Director of iluvlive, Lauren Louise Powell, says, “As a descendant of the Jamaican community, partnering with City Splash is very special to me personally and for iluvlive. Both organisations champion Black music and Black artists, so this partnership feels perfectly aligned.”
Founder of City Splash, Ben Ryan, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with iluvlive, who have been doing amazing work supporting emerging artists for years. Bringing together City Splash and iluvlive to present these two events is a massive moment in the London landscape of artist development.”
The Break will be part of City Splash Week, a seven-day celebration leading up to the City Splash Festival on May 26th 2025. This impactful partnership brings together a celebration of Black music and culture, championing the next generation of emerging talent while empowering aspiring music executives.
